  We were told by friends to try this place, and it was good advice. This is an old school barbecue place. When you order the sandwich they chop the pork. The ribs were tender and with the sauce that was tasty but not hot, worth the stop. The sides and fixings looked fresh. A good place all round!

  I was told to try this place once too. Now maybe we visited on a bad day or something... but Robert Irvine would not tolerate this place. If there was a rub on the brisket? I sure didn't taste it. The sausage was ok. The ribs we got were very dry, but the older fellow did bring us a fresh set and admitted the ones we got were dry even to him. The second set was better, very tender, but again, I couldn't taste any seasonings, didn't see a smoke ring/line or any hint of a good smoke. The potato salad was very sweet, not like a good country mustard potato salad. The coleslaw was sweet too - too sweet for me and I do like a good coleslaw. We probably will not return as there is much better competition for our dollar - even from some food trucks in and around Texas.

  Ok. The meat was a little dry but the sauce is pretty good. The person cutting the meat yelled at me for putting the sauce in a bowl. Not much of a selection of sides.

  Really good ribs. Have a great smokey flavor to it. Will definitely go back to try some of the other dishes they have to offer

  Worst BBQ I have honestly ever had. Dry, no flavor, owner is rude. I laugh when I see the "worlds best bbq" sign coming into mount pleasant. He cant truly believe this..
